This Privacy Policy explains how Even Ground (“we”, “us”, “our”), operated by Rohan Girdhani, collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you use evenground.io, the Product Pass intake and client portal, book an intro call, or otherwise communicate with us. By using our services, you agree to this Policy.
Contact for privacy requests: hello@evenground.io (or info@rohangirdhani.com).
1. Who we are
Even Ground is a one-person product studio. We provide a fixed-price Product Pass (product blueprint services) and related website features such as scheduling, authentication, and a private client workspace. We do not sell personal data.
2. Scope
This Policy applies to:
- Visitors to the Even Ground website
- People who start or purchase a Product Pass
- Users of the client portal and admin tooling we operate
- People who book a Zoom intro call or email us
- Lead and billing communications related to Product Pass
Third-party sites we link to (for example payment processors, Zoom, or Slack) have their own policies. We are not responsible for their practices.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information you provide
- Identity & contact: name, email address, optional LinkedIn or other profile URL
- Intake answers: problem, audience, product idea, success criteria, references, constraints, and free-text notes you submit
- Intro booking details: preferred slot, name, email, and the questions answered when scheduling a call
- Change requests & messages: text and links you submit in the portal, and emails you send us
- Payment-related details: payment status, amounts, receipt metadata or reference IDs you or we record (card data is handled by payment providers when used — we do not store full card numbers)
3.2 Information collected automatically
- Basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, device, and pages viewed (via hosting, logs, or analytics if enabled)
- Authentication tokens stored in your browser for portal / admin sessions
- Operational logs needed to secure and debug the service (for example failed login attempts)
3.3 Information from service providers
- Zoom meeting identifiers and join links for booked intros
- Email delivery status from our mail provider (Zoho Mail / SMTP)
- Hosting and database infrastructure metadata (for example MongoDB Atlas, Vercel / Cloudflare)
4. How we use information
We use personal data to:
- Provide, operate, and improve Product Pass and the portal
- Authenticate you (one-time email codes) and keep your workspace secure
- Deliver deliverables, progress updates, Slack access, billing status, and handoff scheduling
- Schedule and run intro Zoom calls; send confirmations and host notifications
- Send transactional email (OTP, welcome, custom project updates, receipts-related notices)
- Respond to support requests and enforce our Terms of Service
- Protect against fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and security incidents
- Comply with legal obligations where applicable
We do not use your intake content to train public AI models, and we do not sell your personal information.
5. Legal bases (where applicable)
If you are in a region that requires a legal basis (for example the EEA/UK), we typically rely on: contract performance (delivering Product Pass), legitimate interests (securing the service, improving operations, responding to inquiries), and consent where required (for example certain cookies or optional marketing). You may withdraw consent where consent is the basis, without affecting prior lawful processing.
7. International transfers
We are based in Singapore and may process data in Singapore and other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
8. Retention
- OTP codes: short-lived; deleted or expired after use / timeout
- Customer & portal records: retained for the engagement and a reasonable period afterward for support, billing records, and legal compliance
- Intro bookings: retained to run the meeting and for operational history
- Logs: retained for a limited period for security and debugging
You may request deletion subject to legal retention needs (see Rights).
9. Security safeguards
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to a small studio, including:
- TLS encryption in transit for the website and API
- Token-based session auth for portal access; hashed OTP storage
- Access limited to the operator (Rohan) for client data
- Separation of public marketing pages from authenticated portal / admin routes
- Vendor platforms with their own security controls (email, Zoom, database, hosting)
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will take reasonable steps to notify you and regulators when legally required.
11. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise rights, email hello@evenground.io with enough detail to verify your request. We may need to retain some information for legal, security, or billing reasons.
12. Children
Product Pass and our site are directed at adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16 (or the age required in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child provided data, contact us and we will delete it.
13. AI tools
We may use productivity or drafting tools as part of delivering Product Pass work. Client confidential information is handled under our confidentiality obligations in the Terms. We do not sell your data for model training by third parties.
14. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change, and material changes may be highlighted on the site or by email where appropriate. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
